Lennae J. Yoak

March 29, 1956 - September 1, 2013

Lennae Jean "Nae" Yoak nee Selover, 57, Garden Grove, CA 9-1-13 has passed at 7:10 p.m. at Orange County Memorial of Melanoma. Nae was born on 3-29-56 in Albany,NY. Lennae grew up in Garden Grove with her sisters Tina and the twins, Jollen and Collen, and enjoyed playing American Girl fastpitch, going to the beach, and summers spent at La Jolla Beach Camp in Ensenada. Lennae married William Alain Yoak on May 5, 1977. Lennae worked at Peters Elementary School and loved the interaction with all the kids that we saw in the neighborhood. She lived in Mesa, Arizona and Thornton,Colorado where her children were born. She enjoyed skiing but missed the beach fiercely. Her biggest joy was babysitting and playing with her grandchildren McKenzie and Collin Patrick Mullen, both of whom loved her dearly. She is survived by husband, William; children, Sam and Carrie; grandchildren McKenzie and Collin Patrick; parents, Leonard and Evelyn Selover; sisters, Tina Mathey and Colleen Mace.
