On May 5, 2023, David Whedon passed from this life into glory at 9:45 am.  He is survived by his widow, Launi, his two sons Marc and Sam, his mother Carol Whedon and his three sisters, Janet, Joan and Betsy.

His wife Launi said his last great gift to the world was a donation of his brain to the Alzheimer’s & Dementia research work being done at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.  If you knew him at all, you knew he was a great hugger. In honor of him, hug your loved ones today.
