Arlan Williams - Class Of 1970

Arlan passed away February 9, 2022

Arlan E. Williams was born on April 30 1952 to Lewis Erby and Rosa Stella (Trent) Williams. Arlan served in the Army, Navy and lastly he retired from the Air Force. He served as a peace officer serving in many capacities throughout his years of service where he pledged to protect and serve our country and its people. Arlan has been everything from tank truck driver to heavy equipment operator to counselor to stay-at-home grandpa. He was a man of many talents. He played many instruments with trumpet being his favorite to play. Whether it be tending the garden, playing with the grands or riding trails bikes and motorcycles, there was sure to be fun and a good time to be had.

Arlan was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Rosa Williams, brother Rudy Williams, son Ethan Lane Busby, and grandson Ethan Aaron Williams.

He is survived by his wife Laura (Smith) Williams, children, Aaron and Shelley Williams, Amon and Heather Williams, Rachelle Williams, Cara (Williams) and Michael Farrell, Tiffany Williams, Katie and Landon Bass, Marci and Glenn Pool.

Arlan had sixteen grandchildren and five (soon to be 6) great grands. He also had countless brothers in arm that he served with and all those throughout the community that will miss him as Arlan was truly loved.

There will be no public service, only a private family celebration of Arlans life. The family would like to thank all of those that have reached out , sent their love and their prayers.

Roy Jones (1971)

Arlan passed away from covid. He was my next door neighbor while he lived in Garden Grove for several years. He was one of the few people I've met in life that was always kind to me. I will miss his friendship..

Art Gamst (1970)

I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. I wish the my warmest condolences for their loss. Thosethat graduated in 1970 were special and he will be surely missed.
